Are online jewelery sites genuine?

Now-a-days, online jewelery sites have become quite popular wherein you can buy jewelery online. Just wanted to know if these sites are genuine for example please let me know if caratlane or suratdiamonds is a genuine site or not.

    If you need to buy gold coins or pendant then i would suggest you to buy from ebay.com.Otherwise,Gold sets shouldn't be bought online.

    I think to buy gold coin you go to SBI or such nationalised banks and have it from there.

    As abid said,Bank is also an option to gold coins,but i guess,there the price of gold would be higher the market prices.

    No, Ronark. Though some banks sell for more price my father often prefer banks as we get pure gold of more carats in less amount. Corporate bank offers less price. :)

    I think it is always better to purchase directly when it comes about purchasing gold. As suggested by other members, bank is the best option when it comes about purchasing gold coins...!

    i don't think online purchasing of jewelery is good . if you want to purchase online you should buy from only well known sites like tanishq.

    It is always better to buy jewelery personally as you can check for the quality of the design and also look for flaws if any present. But if you must buy online, then buy jewelery ONLY from trusted markets such as indiatimeshopping.com, amazon.com etc. These sites do not manufacture any of the products they sell, but they source them from their own trusted vendors, so you can be sure of its quality and genuineness.

    Better to buy from banks or any other relatives shops so we can get a good and pure gold.

    We can accept gold from bank as its purity will be high.Also as their customer they will give us due consideration rather than these business men.
