Really, what he has achieved is not even half. Only his case has been sent to parliamentary committee. The committee will examine the Lok Pal Bill submitted by Union cabinet on basis of its contents as well as the other drafts- one by Anna team, another by Aruna Roy and yet another by some one else. The Parliamentary committee is going to ask for views of other citizens also. The committee will finally send recommendations to Union cabinet who will the study thew recommendations and present before Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha for discussion and vote. If any constitutional amendment is needed, this will need two third majority in parliament also need to be ratified by state assemblies as far as Lok Ayukta and other matters concerning states are concerned.

Anna may continue his agitation in one form or the other as long as his version or identical provisions of his version are not passed. However, it does not appear that too long battle could be sustained.

There are not two different categories of honest and corrupt. Even anna mass following consists of corrupt businessmen, tax evading and smugglers supporting film industry and petty school managers engaged in contract mass copying. So self improvement is most necessary.

The Agra Police have taken a lead. The police at Agra took oath in police lines that they will not get bribe and not let the mafia commit crimes.
