Fast and agitation is also democratic method but too much agitation and continuing this indefinitely even after purpose is over cannot be supported.

Anna Hazare rightly awakened the entire nation and government through fast. The government agreed and accepted the demand. The Lok Pal Bill was introduced in parliament accepting many suggestions of Hazare group. The parliamentary process is on. The members of parliament may pass the bill as it is, amend or reject it. In this connection, it is worth recall that Lok Pal Bill was presented during Janata Party rule by Shanti Bhushan, then law minister and now member of Hazare team. Then bill was passed by Lok Sabha but failed in Rajya Sabha. Since then, the controversy is not over.

Let the parliament do its job. It is not proper to continue agitation in view of the bill having been presented in parliament.

It is interesting how Hazare team bargained hard with Delhi police for venue and duration of fast. Now the fast is 'for indefinite period' and not unto death, which would be an offence under IPC.

I think PM must tell tell the process to proceed with this issues.

All agree that Lok pal bill can be passed in parliament. By agitation or hunger strike, the message has been given to parliament. The members of parliament belonging to opposition parties also believe in strong Lok Pal Bill. So, now the agitation should end or at least be postponed for some time and allow sufficient time to parliament to discuss and pass the bill. The bill is to be discussed and passed by both houses of parliament. This will take time.

Prime Minister has favored strong Lok pal Bill and needs appropriate time to get the bill discussed and passed in both houses of parliament. It will be highly inappropriate to continue agitation in view of this.
