Tomorrow is the death anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore,Ie on 8th august.We should show due respect to him.West Bengal Govt. declared holiday tomorrow.Central govt should declare holiday.Do you agree?

    Tagore is a poet of international stature and I really appreciate the work of the state government of west bengal to declare the day as holiday and I have no doubt that the government at the center should also declare the day as holiday in future to show respect and love to this great poet of all times....

    In stead of declaring holiday, an hour function should be held in every office to commemorate Tagore. His contribution to literature, painting and freedom struggle need be highlighted. It was Tagore who gave the title 'Mahatma' to Gandhi.

    Tagore birthday was celebrated in Kolkata by a March. Mamata Banerjee led the March singing in rain.
