It's just one of the ways to understand. I agree that one has to interact and engage him or her to study more effectively!
This depends upon our understanding ability and capacity not time.

Even small interaction is enough if you have keen sense of observation. We need not waste time in observing those who are not relevant to us.

yes,one can understand very easily by their behaviour,way of speech etc.

i think they get frustrated when we don't give our time to others.
To understand a person we no need to spend alot of time. A second is enough to understand other person
