    Make sure to switch off things that consumes electricity when not in use and avoid using AC's for longer period of time....

    Just keep your AC off in the summer and open a window , use only fan.

    Always use timer of AC. Keep all the lights and fans switched off except of the room in which you sit. Use 3-4 star rated electric appliance and keep the windows and doors opened whenever possible to keep the house well ventilated.Also CFL can be used in place of Tube lights.
    Arise Awake and Rest Not till the Goal is Achieved.

    Switch off all the lights and fans when not in use.Switch off the oven switch when not in use (consumes a lot of electricity).

    by switching off necessary lights and always remember to keep mobiles charge when battery is low only.

    By changing the light to the latest lights which consume less electricity, and using solar lights, and switch off the lights which are not needed

    Use only as much as necessary and maintain electric appliances properly. This is the only way to save electricity.
