You need minimum fifteen years to earn a pension. Twenty years service is must for seeking voluntary retirement. But the pension is proportionately reduced in case of early retirement.
But i suggest that you should choose profession carefully and work sincerely for long term. If you stick to profession of your choice, your chances in career advancement are brighter. Moreover, money alone is not a criteria of successful career. An officer in Defence forces has more status and prestige than a businessman/ shop keeper earning more than him.

Actually, I want to bring a change in the society by joining Civil services or Politics. For revolution, power is needed and I know that most power lies in their hands. But for joining politics, I would require money too, so this is the matter. If I become an IPS officer, I can earn prestige in the society as well as money in the form of 10% commission from the Government for confiscating illegal property from criminals. So can a army officer appear in Civil Services exams ?

There is quota for ex servicemen in civil services. They also have age relaxation.
