Almost every reality show is for publicity and increase of TRP only then why not Big boss..We cannot restrict such shows completely as many may become unemployed ..if we find anything absurd it is better to avoid it..there are some people who even like such shows and never miss them.. :)

All the TV programmes shows have to take care of TRP factor in order to survive!

All TV shows are for earning revenue that depends on TRP. Big Boss is imitation of Big Brother. The TV shows aim to earn revenue by catering to entertainment of people. There is section of people who like such show. That is why these cannot be eliminated. It is obvious that those who find such show disgusting don't watch.I also don't watch.

As all suggested it is for increasing the TRP of the program. But I am sure of one thing.Children will be mostly influenced by the reality shows. There are chances of them learning some unwanted things from the shows.

children learn all things from family, friends, schools and society. Everywhere there are good and bad things. Parents can decide how to prevent children from getting access to undesirable things. When the children are a little grown up, the proper grooming will enable them to judge good or bad themselves. It is not feasible to banish all undesirable things from print/electronic media and internet. So, we have to adjust.

I didn't say that it is the only way children are learning bad things.I stated that it is one of the ways of bad things influencing children.

As parents, we can choose what we want our children to watch! Also there is the option iof putting a childlock on such channels that we do not want children to view!
