Remedies for Acidity:
Daily Doses:
1. Buttermilk mixed with 1/4th tsp jeera (cumin) powder and rock salt.
2. A small piece of gur (jaggery) after lunch and dinner.
3. A glass of chilled milk to relieve heartburn.
Other Commonly used natural remedies:
Amla Juice remedy: It tastes sour but is an excellent home remedy for acidity. For a quick fix, mix 2 table spoon amla juice or amla powder with equal quantity of mishri in water and drink up!
Yogurt helps: Include butter milk and yogurt in your daily diet. A fresh cucumber raita is a great antidote for acidity.
Drink lots of water: Drink a lot of water, at least 6-8 liters a day, as it aids digestion and flushes out the toxins from your body. Eat only when you are really hungry because digestive juices are released in the stomach when you are hungry.
Green Vegetables help: Make sure that you consume a lot of green leafy vegetables and sprouts, as they are rich source of vitamin B and E. these help the body effectively eliminate the acids.
Pineapple juice: Pineapple juice is full of digestive enzymes. If you feel stuffed after a meal, drink half a glass of fresh pineapple juice. It will relieve you of all the discomfort and acidity.
Carrots: Chewing carrot increases salivation and quickens detestation. How? It gives the digestive system the enzymes and minerals it requires to break down the food.

here is the answer for your question abid
Acidity is not a disease. It’s just a lifestyle disorder, but it can easily give you a lot of trouble. However, following some simple precautions in our diets can help reduce the effects. Eat fresher healthier food and you will be fine in no time!
Symptoms of Acidity:
• Burning sensation in chest
• Loss of appetite
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Abdominal pain and tenderness in upper region
Causes of Acidity:
Avoid Junk Foods: Avoid canned and junk food as well as artificially ripened and frozen fruits. Always opt for seasonal fruits and vegetables. Shun spicy and fried food.
Avoid aerated drinks: If you love to wash down every meal with a fizzy drink, you better stop now! Aerated drinks dilute your enzymes and hinder the digestive process, causing fermentation in tummy, which can lead to acute acidity.
Cut down on tobacco, tea or coffee: You must avoid excessive consumption of tobacco, tea or coffee. Instead try coconut water, watermelon or cucumber juice and nimbu paani. Natural coolers always work wonders.
