People don't demand pirated movies...they are readily available in every nook and corner..they should be banned and then people will stop using it.But what about torrent where the movies are available for free..not sure if they are legal or not.
Even I am too against piracy and in no way promoting it.
I agree people don't ask for a pirated version but they can always check it as a certificate is provided on every DVD declaring it a legit one.

The reason is an enormous desire to view movies without spending much or less. This is a global problem. It's not easy to curb this problem.
