A good initiative and essential too seeing that the numbers of devotees are so large and the prasad is also made in large quantities. Also the trust earns so much in money and kind,. it is the least they can do to ensure the safety of food they serve to the devotees!

It's a common occurrence here to see lizards and different winged species in the Prasads of temples. You will wonder where all the sweat flowing like rivulets from the bodies of the persons preparing Prasads is going.
It is an innovation, ISO certified related to Govt. and this means that now Prasad or bhog will be in good sterile conditions and also in good flavor so that there would not be any such stomach upsets after eating these.

It's a good move from the government. Now the devotees can expect Prasad prepared in hygienic conditions.

Even the mid day meals in the schools are cooked in extremely unhygienic conditions. One won't even have the will to eat the cooked food if one sees from where it is emanating.

Holy food - that we call prasad - or not, food must always be fresh and clean. And we must offer the same what we would have expected for ourselves. It will be more nutritious as well as healthy, automatically this way.
