Most of males of other countries like to play and watch other games too including cricket. But in India males are mostly attached to the game of cricket. Though the other game have male players i think they are ignored and only cricket is highlighted more.
because in india cricket game is more supported than any other.so men are more attracted. although they think they have the better career in cricket and it locates their personality also.
Our national game is Hockey but i think people have forgotten that too. Money and fame are for players only but not for fans.Then why do these fans dont think about these facts and treat other games similarly. If we give importance to other games also like cricket then the results maybe different and India can excel in other sports too like Australia.
Yes, there are well talented players in the hockey team. But there is no proper support and encouragement to the players. Media is also giving much of hype to cricket rather than other games.
