When an 8 year old girl from Agra was suffering from a Hole in her Heart, and it involved a lot of expenditure for an operation, on the advice of her Doctor, She applied for financial help to the PMO's office.

The response was instantaneous. The girl was assured treatment at Delhi's GB Pant Hospital

Social sites too doing their part in rendering such humanitarian activities. Yes.the aggrieved are getting financial help.

That's great if they do get helped financially through it. I used to think that's it's all rubbish no one gets anything by posting such things.

 

No. Recently some social sites collected for the quake victims in Nepal. It came in the press.

Facebook also shows pop up message of helping out quake victims, it seems every institutions slowly becoming glocal, from global to local and this help comes form social sites, similarly this mentioned incident gain speed also the message spread across YT and FB all these parts and parcel of modern day computing. 

Good to see these Social websites are doing a great humanitarian services. Kudos to them.
