You call it profession, you call it thy test
Few bestowed with heaven and hell to the rest
Torn out clothes, naked voice and outstretched palms
Right at your doorsteps begging for alms
You lend a penny or raise a voice
Will this end the saga of distressed lives??
Few relish infinite dishes without a feast
A dried slice of bread is given to suffice the rest
You lend a penny and witness spark of joy
Or receive an annoyed look if you deny
You lend a penny or raise a voice
Will this end the saga of distressed lives??
Come one come all lets pledge today
To make them live life a better way
Education will surely bring a better day
So lets free them from the begging sorrow
Let literacy bring a sweet tomorrow!!!
5 Tips for Single Parents with Teenagers
The only parents and teenagers - these two words bring the most exciting phases of life to watch. I know because I was raised by a single parent, and not so long ago I was a teenager. I remember the life challenges my own mother as a single parent is met. Here are 5 tips to help you navigate the constantly changing challenges of being a single parent:
1. Remember you're still a family
Whatever the circumstances your family is a family - even if it has two parents. There are many single parent families who are emotionally healthy. It is a matter of choice, not luck. They prefer their families emotional, fun and healthy to make a positive memory is filled.
Tip of the parent: Think about your family ideals that you want to be known for, and write them down. Might make a door hanger or craft that contain symbols of the ideals for you to remember them.
2 talk to your teen about their feelings
As you know, your teen may also experience feelings of loss. Whatever the age and circumstances, your child may feel sadness or anger or just feeling different than their peers. Allow your son / daughter to speak about how they feel. This will also help the relationship you have with them.
Tip of the parent: Search transmissible moments. Those special times when your teen know you really listen to you, and is occupied and benefit from it. The transferable moments are rare, so grab the moment.
3. Stay involved.
As best you can, continue to be involved in their lives. Show them you are committed to them despite your stresses. Consistency in your behavior will shout louder than your words.
Tip of the parent: Living with school functions. Find things that you both anyways during the week to do them together. Eat meals together. Go along for a morning or evening course.
4. Teaching responsibility
The teenagers usually begging for parents to give them their independence. One of the best ways to teach responsibility to give them chores to do around the house. Aim chores not as something you have to nag them to do, but an opportunity for your teen to show is he / she is responsible to handle more independence.
Tip of the parent: Start with small responsibilities and then work into more independence with greater responsibilities. For example, you can start teaching them to do their own laundry before letting them drive your vehicle.
5. Live within your means.
As a consultant, I have often seen where parents incur a lot of financial debt for their teenagers 'give'. They want the right kind of clothes they have their own cars and other "need" the teenager says they have "." Require this approach is loss-lose for everyone. The teenagers are not taught about proper spending up, and the pile of credit card accounts of the parents as their financial stress.
Tip of the parent: Bring your child on healthy spending habits. If they have employment age, have them work to earn money for their own "need to pay." Also, lead me on healthy spending habits.

Lake Tanganyika,is a famous lake, which is located in east central Africa, in the Great Rift Valley. This lake is bordered by
1)Burundi on the north

Why it is famous?
The length of the lake is 420 miles,i.e 680 km amnd it is considered as the longest freshwater lake on the earth. The important feature of this lake is that it is relatively narrow, and it width varies from 16 to 72 km.Another important fact about this lake i sthat this is the lake which has the second deepest point in all lakes in the world, after Lake Baikal in Siberia and the greatest depth of this lake is about 1.436 km .
In terms of the surface area also this comes second in the list in Africa after with a surface area of about 32,900 sq km,Lake Victoria. This lake has the surface elevation of about 760 m and it is fed by a number of rivers and the principal rivers includes
1)The Ruzizi
2)The Malagarasi
3)The Kalambo
but it drains only through the Lukuga, which then flows into the Congo.
Its history
Until the middle of the 18th century, the Arabs and slave traders did not reach Lake Tanganyika and their main depot on the lake was Ujiji, Tanzania, just southeast of Kigoma on the lake’s eastern shore. Still Ujiji is an active trading post despite the decline of its harbor. Till 1858 European explorers did not arrive along Lake Tanganyika and it was expored when British explorers Sir Richard Francis Burton and John Hanning Speke came upon the lake while trying to locate the source of the Nile.
Fishing and cultivation
This lake is a heaven to the fishermen as more than 200 native species of fish inhabit this lake’s waters.Apart from fishes crocodiles and hippopotamuses are found on the shores of this lake which makes the human existance on the shores impossible.Usually the Bantu-speaking peoples make the best use of this lake and they inhabit the area catch fish and they also cultivate rice in the fertile lake waters and surrounding lands. The Bantu- Speaking people are shown below
Ports
The busiest port on this lake is Bujumbura, Burundi.Apart from this port the city of Kalemie, DRC, is also another important port on this lake. When it comes to tourism, the MV Liemba is the main passenger ferry on the lake and credit goes to this ferry as it is one of the oldest regularly operating steamers in the world and credit goes to Germans, who built this in 1914.This historic ship connects Bujumbura,Kigoma, Tanzania, and Mpulungu, Zambia. The image of MV Liemba is shwon below
The recent statistical report says that, in the continent of Africa there are more than 200 languages spoken by the people. To be specific the number of languages, spoken in African continent lies between 2000 and 3000 languages.
Apart from this there are over 8000 dialects, that fits into these 300 languages. The major four classification of language families that are spoken in Africa can be divided into six types namely
1)Afro - Asiatic
2)Nilo - Saharan
3)Niger - Congo A
4)Niger - Congo B
5)Khoi - San
6)Austronesian
The image below shows exactly where these kind of languages are spoken
To be specific most these African Languages are group of languages that are native to the African continent(with some esception) and the the scholars estimate that out of these 3000 different kinds of languages 50 languages may have 500,000 or more speakers.
But the fact is that the majority of African languages are spoken only by relatively few people. For example languages like Hadza, which is spoken in Tanzania, unfortunately ranks among the languages with the fewest speakers, because reports says that only about 200 people speak this language and the people who speak this Hazda language are called as the Hazda people and the image belows shows the Hazda people
On the contrary the most widely spoken languages includes Swahili and Hausa and it is estimated that more than 50 million people speak Swahili, and this language is spoken by the people who live in East and Central Africa.
In the case of Hausa language, report says that about 25 million people speak this language, and primarily they are located in the West African country of Nigeria. Apart form these two languages other other African languages with large numbers of speakers includes
1)Fulfulde in Senegal, Cameroon, and Chad
2)Yoruba in Nigeria and Benin
3)Igbo in Nigeria.
But apart from all these reports the truth is that not all languages spoken in Africa are native to the continent. The Northern Africa speak Arabic as their first language, and it was brought to Africa by immigrants from Arabia between the 7th and the 11th centuries.
In the case of Madagascar Malagasy is the language spoken by most of the people, and belongs to the Austronesian group of languages with origins in Indonesia. Apart from this, starting from the 15th century the European colonists brought English, French, and Portuguese to Africa.
