Peaks of success
The success of a person’s life is directly proportional to his devotion towards excellence. In every business sector, it is seen that 80% of the total business profit is earned by top 20 companies of that particular sector. Only 20% people in every field gain reputation, awards and respect because they are best in their work field. Whenever we choose a particular work and do it with full devotion and concentration, it means that we are respecting ourselves from the bottom of our heart. Every work we do with a positive attitude increases our self confidence and we feel better. This makes us more confident while doing task of higher responsibilities.
In order to reach a higher grade, self confidence and courage is required. The highest level of success can be achieved only if we have the will power to break the boundaries that we have created for our convenience. The more we are self confident, the more we will be powerful, optimistic and devoted towards our goal. A short error in identifying our potential can result in a big hurdle in the path of success. If we can able to develop at least 5% of our talent than it will be definitely improve our position in the race of life. Constant observation, research and learning will enable us to obtain a position in top 10 to 20% people of our field.
Every goal or target has small elements or sections. To achieve success, it is required to divide the goal in its small sections. These sections should be properly figured out and planned to become successful in that particular section to a minimum level. In such way, by accomplishing each section, complete target can be achieved. The person trying to reach the goal should be able to gain excellence in every small sections of the goal. Being weak in any section, can result in stepping away from success.
Let us try to illustrate the above point with the help of an example:
If we want to sell a product, then there are six important factors that should be analyzed and achieved in order to sell the product successfully.
a) Probability of the sell of a product:
The quality and price of the product determines the likelihood of the sell of the product. These qualities should be properly studied and analyzed in order to increase the probability for higher selling of the product.
b) To gain trust of the customer:
After becoming confident about the probability of the sell of a product, it is required to gain the trust of the customers. The customer section should be properly studied according to the class of the customer. He should be satisfied with the product and should be reluctant to buy it.
c) To identify the need and difficulties of the customer:
While selling the product, the needs of the customer should be given priority. These needs and difficulties should be properly surveyed and the product should br presented according to it.
d) To present the product satisfactorily:
The product to be sold should be presented in such a way that it should meet every aspect of customer’s satisfaction and he should buy the product without any doubt.
e) Clearing confusions regarding the product:
The customer is often confused regarding the product due to its wrong publicity or any other cause. The person selling the product should try to clear the confusion and prove how good the product is.
f) Reselling:
The product should reach the customer in a very attractive way, so that he will buy the product again and again resulting in increase the productivity of the product.
These six elements together combine to form a target of becoming a master of sales. This target can be achieved by any individual, group of individuals, any company or corporation. If a single element is neglected, it will directly effect your position.
The field in which we want to progress should be properly identified and studied. “What is our current position in the field?” should be the baseline of the study. For example, if we want to reduce our weight, we should know our current weight. We should have to categorize our specialties, so that we can find out that from where we can progress. Primarily we should concentrate on our weak points and try to convert them into our efficiencies. Thus, with proper management we can achieve mastery in every field. To meet our target, planning and management is essential and the required changes should be done while managing the various aspects of the target.
Unless we obtain respect in our field, we will not have the work satisfaction.. When we achieve an important position among others in our organization, then not only we are respected, but our self respect and self confidence also increases. Being important is very exciting. It induces us to become more and more efficient and climb the peaks of success. It is true, that only those people could be successful in life, which has the courage to believe that the potential they have in them are better than others.
