Walking through a crowded street one evening
Walking is one of the good exercises. It is very good to the body.
Jagging is in the morning. This is young man or women exercise.
Life consists of varieties of experience. One of them is walking through a crowed street in the evening. Walking through crowds at any time is an experience by itself, and not a comfortable one at5 that. But such an experience in the evening should be unique by its very nature. One can imagine a street at such a time of the day. The children come swarming out of the schools into the streets, commuters in their various moods jostle one another, eager to catch a bus or to walk home realizing the futility of waiting for a bus. There are others who might have come out shopping, unmindful of the crowds. When we keep walking through such people, we meet with various sights. Hawkers shouting their wares try to draw the attention of those hurrying away to their respective destinations. Policeman vanity tries to regulate the traffic. The whole atmosphere becomes polluted with noise of every description. It is a wonder that the city dweller has not become totally deaf amidst this noise.
Sometimes, we have to put up with the glaring and angry looks of one whose feet we might have trampled upon in the crowd. There may be others waiting for a chance to pick the pockets of unwary pedestrians or travelers in jam-packed buses. There are also gay lot heroes waiting for a chance to have a romantic experience. After traversing a short distance in such a crowed place, we look down upon our clothes. The careful that we had given to our dress and our-hair style has vanished. Our clothes present a picture of a crumpled mass. We would count ourselves lucky if we a full shirt on.
Yet, walking through a crowed street is not at all, a bad experience. If we keep our eyes and ears open we can see many interesting things and also hear interesting conversation. It would not be a surprise if we come upon a wise discussion, a serious subject being carried on by some of the pedestrians walking along. The sights of a variety of people offer a study in psychology. In short, we may say that walking in a crowded street in the evening is a unique experience by itself.
