How to Grow Tall or Look Taller
Increasing our height is not like gaining or losing weight. It is not like curing any ailment by medication, physiotherapy, operations or injections.
Our height depends on your bone structure from the tip to tow. Our muscles and other parts of our bodies are just covering your bone structure that that forms the frame and profile of our body. If the bone structure is unlikely to stretch-out, there is no question of any increase in our height, in the least.
I do not want to discourage people from making efforts for achieve something worthwhile for health and beauty. My aim is to alert everyone against being exploited by unscrupulous commercial health consultants who claim to have medicines and therapies for increasing height of human beings. They simply pick your pocket, energy, leave you disheartened, and disillusioned with your own life; because, every one of us who have even basic knowledge of human anatomy knows well that increasing or decreasing our height is beyond the accessibility of contemporary medical science.
Please beware of the advertisements on TV and print media about height gaining health drinks, herbs or medicines or any exercising packages because they are all fake.
It is better to accept your present height with grace and be proud of your persona you possess, if you have crossed nineteen years of age. You should not waste time, energy and money on any commercial height gaining packages, because they would not help you in any way.
You keep growing taller as your age increases right from your birth and continues to grow until adolescence and finally stop at nineteen or maximum at twenty-one. During this period of your growth, you can make efforts for gaining your optimum height. You should remember that the height also depends on our genetic inheritance and even on the genetic combination or our parental lineage.
Grow Tall and Look Tall
We can only add-on to your growing height during the period of our actual growth and that too not more than a supplement to the processes. The following is what you can do between that period of growth:
• Take milk at least once a day… better in the morning
• Take rich, nutritious, and healthy diet
• Take plenty of fruits including the local seasonal fruits
• Take plenty of salads
• Do not do dieting or diet control
• Do not eat junk food viz pizza, burger, and soft drinks
• Keep away from bad company and alcoholic drinks / smoking
• Do not go to discotheque
• Go early to bed and getup early in the morning
• Take 8hrs sound sleep
• Do stretching exercise for min 15 minutes
• Surya Namaskar is a good exercise for stretching your bone structure and muscles
• Go for 45 minutes fast running (it is a must for you)
• Play games like football, hockey and basketball
• Maintain quick reflexes and Do not be lazy in your day-to-day life
Young men or women with average height would look quite impressive if they maintain proper postures and wear suitable dresses. Following are few advices that might help you look taller in spite of being an average tall person:
• Do not stand on one leg. Distribute your weight on both of your legs while standing.
• Keep your backbone / spine in as vertical as possible. (within your comfort zone… don’t overdo)
• Loose hanging pants worn below your belly-button level spoil your smart look. Buy your lowers that fit at this level of your body. As a result, the length of your lower garment will increase considerably. Eventually, the perspective height of your body will increase.
• Always select a combination of darker pant + lighter shirt. (vertical stripes, if possible, would be better)
• Use shoes / sandals with 1” heel that will elevate your height by 1”
• High heels not only elevate the height of the users, they also keeping your body upright (this fact is not known to most of us)
