Hi friends in this article, let us discuss about the film called "INSIDE MAN" and really this is a fantastic film.This is based of Bank Robbery theme and really the screenplay of this film was awesome and to add our Indian song "Chaiya .... Chaiya ...." by A.R.Rahman was also added during the opening credits.

Ive watched this movie and I can guarantee that you can't feel bored even a second and every scene is interesting and so the movie moves very fast.

Denzel plays a very important role as a detective and the most important character is that of Clive Owen who did a great job as Dalton Russel and he deserves appreciation.

Eventhough this is a bank robbery subject, but the reason for this robbery is different and the screenplay is fantastic and it is definitely worth watching.

About the movie

One of the amazing thing about this movie is that, the movie starts with "Chaiya Chaiya...." for Dil Se and this song comes and it perfectly matches the artists introductions and also during this job they show how a group of robbers plans and comes to to rob a bank.

And also when the film moves very fast the detective will interrogate with the hostages so as to find the real person who has involved in this robbery attempt.The screenplay is very good in this movie and it makes us very eager to know the next scene.

The film starts when Dalton Russell, who was in a confined cell says his name and asks him to listen very carefully, as he won't repeat again.After that he begins to narrate how a group of his men plans to rob a bank and he often describes that this as the "PERFECT BANK ROBBERY".Many of us would confuse whether he narrates inside a cell or prison, because that place is very small and resembles a prison.

After that in the flash back, a group of robbers dressed as painters plans and they start to their destination,i.e, the bank and this happens during the opening credits of the characters,(when the names of the characters are displayed) and during this our Indian song "Chaiya Chaiya..." makes the scene extremely good to watch.

When the group enters the bank they disables the security cameras and after that they take all the staffs, customers to the basement of the bank and they ask them to give all the keys and cell phones.But during this one of the bank employees, named Peter Hammond tries to hide the cell but the robbers manage to find this and he was beaten.

After getting all the properties of the hostage, the robbers asks all the hostages to change their dress into painter uniforms and also to cover their faces using kerchiefs so that all the hostages resembles the robber, because now all wear same uniform and the main reason for this is that it would be difficult for the police to identify the exact robbers.

After this the robbers started to execute their plan and as a part of their plan they lock the hostages in different rooms, and also they shifted them periodically and introducing the robbers and during this operation they also made one of their member to sit along with the hostage.The robbers demand that they need a plane.

After some times a police officer who was passing that side found that the bank was robbed and he informs the police department and as a result of this the police arrives surround the bank.Meanwhile two detectives Keith Frazier and Bill Mitchell comes to the location and they introduce themselves to the police.

At this point of time Arthur Case who is the chairman of the board of directors and also founder of the bank, asks Madeleine White to ensure that the contents of his safe deposit box at the bank to remain secret.Meanwhile Frazier suspects that Russels's intention was not to rob the bank but he may plan something different.

Frazier also calls Russel and says that he might need some time to organise the plane so that he could find the actual plan of Russel. Russell also trusts him and he test Frazier by asking him a question and he also asks for the cops to bring sandwiches, rather than pizza, to lessen the chances of bugging the containers.

After that White gets permission from the Mayor to speak with the Russel and after meeting Russel she requests access to the safe deposit box. So Russell shows a document that contains Swastika Symbol, and he also said that Arthur might have got huge amount of money from the Germans during the World War 2 for unspecified services that resulted in Jewish deaths.

It was at this time Russell reveals his motivation,and says that

"All lies they stink, you can cover them up for a while but they don't go away."

But white assures that he will help Russel to get out of the bank with huge amount, if he gives  the document.Meanwhile Frazier says that he wants to check the hostage conditions and Russel also gives permission to Frazier to come to the Bank and see the condition of hostages.

During this time Russel drops the ring into the Frazier's pocket,which he found in the Case's box, when Frazier was informing Russel that he was going to propose a girl next week.

After checking the condition of hostages and when Frazier was about to leave the bank, Frazier attempts to overpower Russell, only to fail when another robber comes to Russell's aid.

But Russell doesn't hurt Frazier and he leaves him unharmed.Later when Frazier meets his colleagues, he said that he intentionally tried to provoke Russell, so as to understand the intention of the the Robbers and he finds that they were not killers and he is confident hat he might have some other plan behind this bank robbery.

After some time Frazier and his team was shocked to see a transmitter which helped Russel and others to get the information regarding what were discussing in that room and what would be the next step of the Police.

Mean while the robbers detonate the smoke bombs throughout the bank and they also released the hostages,and all the robbers except Russel came along with the hostages.

As all of them were dressed as painters the police was confused and they start to interrogate with everyone, but they failed to recognize anyone.In this robbery attempt no money was stolen and no people were killed and Frazier finds that this was a fake robbery attempt.

The police were also shocked to see that the guns used by the robbers were merely toys and Frazier finds that safe deposit box No.392 has never appeared on any records since the bank's founding in 1948,while he was searching for the documents.

So Russel was missing and everyone was very eager to find where Russel would be and later in the film it is revealed that Russell was hifing behind a fake wall, which they erected inside the supply room, with the help of multi-skilled thugs and this is the meaning of the movie Inside Man and it was form this place he was narrating the story at the beginning

After one week he comes out of the supply room  and he joins his associates and mean while Frazier opens the safe deposit box after getting the warrant form the judge and he founds it was written as "Follow the ring." and with the help of White he manages to get the information form Case as Frazier gave a recording pen that has recorded all the conversation.

It was during the second world war Case betrayed a Jewish friend to Nazi and gets that diamond ring. At last when Frazier goes home and he finds a loose one-carat diamond in his pocket and he realizes that it would have been dropped by Russel when he met him in the bank and at the end of the movie he proposes his girlfriend using the diamond.

Hi friends in this article let us discuss about the movie which was the first movie for our National hero A.R.Rahman, and it is none other than "ROJA".This film is based on how a software engineer who was kidnapped by the terrorist escapes from them.I guess most of you would have watched the movie and this is one of the best movie I have ever seen.

The story of this film starts from a village and then it moves town and at last to  Kashmir where terrorist kidnap the hero.One important thing that made this movie a very emotional  and successfulis the music and this was done by A.R.Rahman and this was the first film for him and reports says that his salary was 25,000 rupees.

Till this movie Maniratnam, used Illayaraja as the music director for his previous films and after this movie, till date A.R.Rahmam is the music director for the rest of his movie and the latest being Ravanan.This combination has done miracle and some of their best movies includes Bombay,Kannathil Muthamittal etc.,

Most of these movies are based on National Integration and Maniratnam is well known for making these kind of movies.In this film he explains the Patriotism shown by the citizen of India and I assure you that,our spirits will be high after wathing this movie.

Cast and Characters in the film

i)Aravind Swamy as Rishi Kumar.He is a software engineer and this was the second film under Maniratnam's direction, the previous being Thalapathi which was his first movie.After this film he also acted in another Maniratnam big project,i.e,Bombay which was also based on National Integration and a huge hit.His acting was really great and especially in the scene when he tries Bring down the fire, on the National Flag which was set by the terrorist.This is a scene, where every Indians couldn't control their emotion after seeing the National Flag being burnt.

ii)Madhoo Bala as Roja and she is the important character as the entire film is about how she tries and fights for his husband to be rescued for the terrorist.She is a village girl but she is brave enough to fight alone for his husband in Kashmir.At first she doesn't like Rishi as she felt he didn't marry her sister, but later she realises the truth.

iii)Nasser as the Police Officer in Kashmir and he is also responsible for capturing the terrorist Wasim Khan(which is the opening scene of the movie) and he was not willing to trade Wasim Khan for Rishi as many soldiers lost their life during the process of capturing Wasim Khan.

iV)Pankaj Kapoor acts as the terrorist who kidnaps Rishi and he is the temprory leader of the group and the reason why he kidnaps Rishi is that he wants the release of his leader Wasim Khan.

v)Janakaraj plays a small but also an important role and he is fortune teller at a temple in Kashmir.He knew all the languages spoken in India and he is the one who helps roja for translating after her husband was kidnapped.

About the movie

This film starts in Kashmir when the Indian Army circles the terrorist Wasim Khan and they also managed to capture him.During this operation many soldiers have lost their life and this makes Nasser sad as he lost many his team.

Then the movie moves to a beautiful village in Tamil Nadu and it starts with a beautiful song "Chinna Chinna Aasai...." and

it was beautifuly picturized.This was a huge hit of that year and it was also used in advertisement i.e for the chocolate Aasai.

Then Roja, who is very playful goes to check about the character of the person who is going to marry her sister and she did this along with his younger sister by hiding, when Rishi, who comes to marry Roja's sister, was coming to the village and stops the vehicle when he saw sheep crossing the road.

But many unexpected things happen, because Roja's sister says Rishis she was in love with other person and he asks to say other he doen's like her.But Rishi goes and says that he likes Roja rather than her sister so that he could save Roja's sister and also makes her wish happen.

But Roja who was totally unaware of what was going, was shocked to hear that Rishi wants to marry her.But somehow both the marriage of Roja and her sister takes place and Roja was starts to hate Rishi as she doesn't know why Rishi did this.

Then Roja leaves the village along with Rishi to Chennai and after that in Chennai he finds the truth why Rishi asked Roja to marry her.Now she believes Rishi and after that they begin to live happily.After some time, Rishi was asked by his company to go to Kashmir for a secret project for the Indian Army.

Terrorists plan to kidnap him and when Roja was not there in the hotel,Rishi goes out of the hotel in search of his wife and when she sees her in a Temple there terrorist kidnap Rishi in front of his wife.

Then the rest of the story revolves how Rishi escapes from the terrorist group and also how Roja fights for her husband by asking the Government to meet the demand of the terrorist,i.e., to release to Wasim Khan.

Songs in the movie

i)“Chinna Chinna Aasai” sung by Minmini and this is the opening song and the picturization of this song is excellent and it explains how playful Roja is.

ii)"Rukkumaniye Rukkumaniye....” sung by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, Chitra and this comes after the marraige of Roja and in this son we can see the dance of the choreographer Rajasundran

iv)“Pudhu Vellai Mazhai” sung by Unni Menon, Sujatha and this occurs when Rishi and Roja reach Kashmir

iii)“Kaadhal Rojave... Enge Nee Enge...” sung by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and this is my favourite song ever absloutely great music, lyrics and voice. Mind blowing song.

v)This song “Tamizha Tamizha” sung by Hariharan and this is one of the best inspirational song and every Indian will have a feeling when they hear this song and it provokes our patriotism and hats off to the music director, Lyric writer and the singer

Hi friends in this article let us discuss about a famous Tamil film called as "ANJALI" directed by Maniratnam.This film is a family film and mostly it revolves around child artists and this film was a super hit.Another important thing about the film is that the music is marvelous and it was composed by none other than our Maestro "Ilaiyaraaja".

This story mostly revolves around a apartment and this film is about a child called Anjali who was born mentally ill.At first in the apartment all the children make fun of her but later they become very close and Anjali becomes every body's close friend.

Another most important aspect is the climax when Anjali was found dead on one fine morning everybody tries to wake her and this scene was the best in the film and I guess many would have cried due to this scene.Maniratnam who is usually known to take different kind of stories did an extremely job and this was not the usual type of movie that people have watched and everybody would have enjoyed and the climax would have made them cry..

About the movie

The movie starts when Tarun and Sruti calls for a taxi so that they could take their mother , who is pregnant , along with their father to the hospital.They also decided to keep their child's name as Anjali, as they believe that they would have a girl child.They reach the hospital and Chitra gives birth to a girl child, but Doctor and Sekhar gives Chira the bad news that her child was dead.This made the whole family worry.

To overcome these thoughts, after few years the family moves to a new apartment which contains lots of families and more importantly many children.This was a positive move as they except that everything will change and as a result of this they start to live happily.

The important problem in the apartment is the children as they are usually naughty and they make lots of problems and one such problem is that they always make fun of the Ex- Watchman,Janakaraj, who is mentally retarded and they also usually tease make fun of all the elders.

They also helped the lovers from their parents and with these children the entire apartment becomes lively.At first when sekhar's family comes to the apartment the wont accept Arjun and Anu as their friends and they usually involve in quarrel.But after some time they become friends and all were happy.Another important character the whole apartment is afraid of is Prabhu,who is an ex-convict and he lives alone in his flat.

Everything was going well until one evening, the New Year Eve, when Arjun went out with his friends to celebrate it saw his father with another woman.When he returns home Chitra scolded her for being late and when Sekhar comes home Chitra asks Sekhar to beat Arjun and that time Tarun says Chitra that he saw his father with another woman but Sekhar refuses this and says Chitra Arjun was lying, and Chitra also believed it.

After some day Chitra along with Arjun and Anu goes to the construction site where Sekhar was working and she notices that he was not there and leaves home.That night Sekar comes home late and when Chitra asks why he was late he said that he had an important work in the site and Chitra found that he was lying and the problem begins as Chitra thinks that Sekhar was having an affair with some other woman and asks to promise to forget that woman for the benefit of the children.

After some day when Chitra was travelling in a bus she sees Sekhar was walking with another woman in the platform.On seeing this she got down from the bus and followed them to a hospital.After that she comes to the apartment and she decides to go out of the apartment with his children as she thinks Sekhar was cheating.

At that time Sekhar comes and stops here and he broke the secret that their daughter(Called as Anjali), who everbody believed was dead when she was born, was alive and he also takes Chitra to the Ashram where Anjali lives as she was mentally retarded.Sekhar says that Anjali was not born dead but her condition was very pathetic and doctor believed that she can't be alive for more than 4 days.

So Sekhar and the Doctor have decided to say that the child was dead .But surprisingly the child managed to live for a longer time than expected but the development of brain was normal.After hearing this Chitra decides to take their daughter to their apartment knowing the condition that Anjali was ill and may die any time.

They took Anjali to their appartment and every family in the appartment had bad idea about the child.Arjun and Anu didn't accept Anjali as they were not interested in accpeting the mentally retarded child as their sister and they believed that everybody will tease them.

When Arjun and Anu were returning from the school, they say their friends were making fun of Anjali, as she was not mentally normal and seeing this Arjun got angry and he started to quarrel with them and ends in injury.At the same time Anu takes Anjali to her flat and beats Anjali, as she believed that Anjali was responsible for Arjun getting hurt.

When the problem was over Anjali comes to Arjun's room and she cries after seeing Arjun being hurt and from this time onwards both Arjun and Anu realise that she is precious and started to be kind with Anjali.Now Arjun goes with Anjai and introduced her as his sister to his friends with whom he was quarreling and he also challenges to tease her now if anybody has guts.

But this doesn't end in quarrel again as everybody accepted Anjali and they were very fond of her.All were happy.

One day Sekhar witness a murder and he knew that the murderer was Dharma and informs police , who arrested him.Apart from this Chitra was shocked to see Anjali in Prabhu's flat and she wasrn Prabhu not to see Anjali again as he was a ex- murderer who spent 10 years in jail.

During the Apartment meeting everyone asked Sekhar to move out of the apartment of to leave the child in the mental hospital as they believe that the Anjai's presence will disturb the behaviour of their children and this made Sekhar angry and leaves that place after scolding them.

This time Prabhu comes and warns the members of the apartment and he said that no one has rights to move this innocent child out of the apartment and he also says other to be perfect before asking this innocent child to go.

At this time Chitra who believe Prabhu was an arrogant man now realsise he was a good hearted man and only circumstance made him to do the murer and he also has some reason for that.

One day Police Commisioner calls Sekhar to be careful as Dharma has come out in bail and as expected he comes to the appartmet and kinaps Arjun and ask Sekhar to com out.But during that time prabhu was in their flat and after attending the all he goed down and kills Dharma and he was arrested again. he also believed no problem will come to Sekar's family hereafter.

When everthing was fine, one day, early in the morning, Anu comes to Anjali's rooma nd tries to wake Anjali but in vain and so she calls her brother Arjun, who finds that Anjali was dead.But Anu who doesn't know this calls her dad, mother and all her friends in the apartment to wake Anjali.This scene was excellent and Anu's acting especially in this scene was awesome.Finally the film ends with Anjali's death.

Hi friends in this article let us go some 43 years back and see one of the highest rated movie in IMDB and that is "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", which was released in 1966.Well I ve watched this movie just before writing this article and i assure you this is a good one but some might feel it is too slow to watch, but from my point of view I like the way in which the director has done this movie.

This frank is actually the third part of the trilogy,"The Dollers Trilogy", with the previous two parts being A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More. To be very frank it is a very slow movie and it is around three hours but when you are a movie lover and that too if you are a fan of Cow boy type movies and that too adventurous, here is the right movie.

Mostly flimmed in the desert area, the theme of the movie is "Target is money, kill anyone who interrupt in the way".But the most important thing is that the movie also presents three important characters as the movie name says,i.e., the good, the bad and the ugly.

From my point of view I very much admired the character The Ugly and his character is more or less like the famous character in the American TV serial "PRISON BREAK" , Tee Bag.When I watched this movie this ugly character resembled the Tee Bag character in the Prison Break.

I guess some of you would have watched Prsion Break, for those who didn't get chance to watch, i will explain what is the character of Tee Bag.Well it is more or less the Chameleon type, where the Chameleon animal changes its color according to the situation very quick and the similar way the Ugly character in this film also change according to the condition, with money being his target.But I assure you that he is also seen as the comedian as he makes us laugh.

Apart from this character the other characters, i.e. the good and the bad are also money oriented but the way the approach marks their character name.The Good, will always be patient and he will never tortures others unless they disturb him and he is light hearted to an extent.The bad character can be distinguished from the ugly character in a way that he never changes his character as he is too bad and kills others unnecessarily.

The name itself implies three main characters and these includes

i)Clint Eastwood as Blondie, to be specific he is "THE GOOD".He is so calm and never gets excited,but he is keen in his job.He accepted to act in this movie for 250,000 USD and also 10 % of the revenue form the North American Market.

Clin Eastwood who was acting in TV series earlier, utilized this opportunity and as a matter of fact this film is the turning point in his career and after this film in his Carrier he has won 4 Oscar Awards under the category, Best Picture and Best Director, for his film Unforgiven and Million Dollar Babby which was released in 1993 and 2005 respectively.

ii)Lee Van Cleef as Angel Eyes, to be specific he is "THE BAD".His character is simple kill anyone in his path for the money and never changes his character as he is ruthless and never feels bad for the sin of killing people.

But Charles was already committed for the film "The Dirty Dozen" and he has to reject his offer, which naturally gave way to Lee Van Cleef.The reason why the director hesitated for the first time to chose Lee Van Cleef is that in his previous film "For a Few Dollars More", his character was soft and romantic and he was worried how Lee Van Cleef will adopt to the Bad character.But to everyone's surprise his character was appreciated by all and to be frank I also loved this character better than that of Eastwood's.

iii)Now comes the character which I really admire and none other than "THE UGLY".Eli Wallach done this role and in this movie he is called as Tuco.Even his character was initialised at first instant and he was selected because of his comic character.

Before Eli Wallach, the director was in the idea of choosing Gian Maria Volonte for this role.This is the most important character and this is very close to Director and this made both the director and Eli very good friends.Only for this character we knew something about his history.

About the movie

It was during the middle of the American Civil War and the film starts in an abandoned village when three bounty hunters comes to the village in horses with the guns.They knew that Tuco was hiding in one of the building in that village and they want them to catch him as the Government announced 2000 USD for those who bring him alive.

So the three hunters goes inside an abandoned motel and it seems they are going to finish the job as they were shown very powerful and rough character.But after some gun fire, suddenly a man comes out of the motel breaking the glasses and escapes in a horse.After that they show that the three hunters were shot down by that man.This was none other than Tuco and he was introduced as "THE UGLY" when he was shown for the first time.

Next is the introduction of the character "THE BAD" and his motive was to find Bill Carson and in this scene he enters a village and goes inside a house, where he meets a former soldier Stevens and asks in which name Jackson was hiding and he was given USD 500 for this job by his boss.

Stevens was afraid and he says that Bill Carson was the new name of Jackson and he agrees to pay 1000 USD so that he could not be killed. But Angel kills him and also his son when being interrupted.Later he takes that 1000 USD and kills his boss after getting the name and he says that he was given 1000 USS for this job and he do whatever for money and this is enough to reveal this character.

Then it is shown that Tuco was ridding in a horse in the desert where he was caught by three bounty hunters who wants to capture him for the reward.This is the introduction of "THE GOOD" character, Blondie , where he saves Tuco form these hunters and to Tuco's surprise he kidnaps him and hands over to the Local town's Sheriff as he was most wanted.

But to everybody's surprise when Tuco was about to be hanged Blondie saves him by shooting at the rope when he was about to be hanged.After this both of them shares the money and they decides to implement this plan in another town and as per the plane Blondie hands Tuco to the Sheriff for 3000 USD and also saves him when he was about to be hanged.

But this time Blondie says that the partnership his over and he leaves Tuco in the desert without giving his share.Then Angel goes to a village and threatens a girl about the whereabouts of Bill Carson and finally he gets some information that he left a week ago.

Meanwhile tuco manages to escape from the desert and with the help of his friends he also found the horse of Blondie in a motel and he also catches him, after loosing his friends which he did intentionaly.But that time a huge explosion occurs and this saves Blondie and he escapes form that place.

But Tuco somehow manages to find Blondie and he marches him across the harsh desert, while he followed him in a horse.At one point of time Blondie was totally dehydrated and tired and Tuco decides to kill him.

At this time Tuco finds a runway carriage approaching him and he finds the bodies of Confederate soldiers. But there was one soldier who was alive and he said his name was Bill Carson and he asks Tuco for water and he is ready to pay even 200,000 USD for this.

Teco asks for the exact place where the money was kept and Bill Carson said it was in one of the grave located in Sad Hill cemetery and when Tuco asks for the name of the grave he asked to give water first.So Tuco goes to get water but when he returns he finds Bill was dead and he also noticed Blondie was found next to him and Blondie said that Bill said him a name of the Grave yard, before he becomes unconscious.

Then he takes the carriage along with Blondie disguised as the Confederate soldiers as they were wearing their dress and then he takes Blondie to a hospital(A old church) and he also said his name was Bill Carson and asks the father to help Blondie as he was ver close to him, but the only intention being getting the name of the Grave.

There Tuco finds his brother and this is the only time we know the past of any of our three characters and his brother who was a father says that he ran away from house when their parenst was killed and Tuco finally ends in a quarrel and leaves that place along with Blondie, who has recovered by that time.

While they were travelling in the carriage they found group of soldiers approaching them in gray shirts and they believed that it was Confederate soldiers and when they approached closer they found that their shirts was covered by dust and that made their shirt look like gray and at this time Blondie and Tuco found that they were Union soldiers and they were captured and kept in Union Prison.

Angel who was the superior officer there finds that one of the recently captured prisoner was bill carson(Actually it was tuco who said his name was Bill Carson) and he tortures Tuco and finds the secret that Tuco had,i.e., the money was in Sad Hill cemetery and Blondie knew the exact grave where it was kept.

So the next day Angel along with 5 of his officer takes Blondie to the Sad Hil cemetery and also sends Tuco with one of his office in the train for his execution.But somehow Tuco manages to escape form the officer and he reaches the town where Blondie, Angel and other 5 officers were staying.

Later Blondie manages to escape form Angel and then he was surprised to see Tuco there and after that they both joined together and they killed all the 5 soldiers those who came with Angel but Angel escaped from that place, but the problem is he knew where the money will be but he doesn't know the grave name, which was known only by Blondie.

On the way to the Sad Hill cemetery Tuco and Blondie caught in the fight between and union soldiers over a bridge and both of them finally managed to destroy the bridge with the help of explosiveve and when there were no soldiers left as the bridge was destoyed, Tuco goes to the Sad hill Sementry, before he exchanged the secret information with Blondie when he said the money was in the grave name called Arch Stanton.The image below shows Tuco and Blondie tries to blow up the bridge with the help of the explosives.

When they reach that grave they fond Angel was there and he holds the both at the gun point.But Blondie says that the money wont be there as he didn't say the exact name of the grave.Later all three stare at each other as they were looking for the correct alliance, and by this time Blondie manages to shoot Angel and when Tuco fires his gun he finds there was no bullet and he understood that Blondie was responsible for this.

Now Blondie says that Bill carson said that the money was in an Unknown grave which was located before the grave named Arch Stanton and after that he asks Tuco to dig the grave and there they founds four bags full of coins, worth 200,000 USD.

Then Tuco was under the gunpoint of Blondie and he also forces Tuco atop a grave marker and also asked him to wraps the noose around his neck.He also tied his hand and Tuco cant move or he will be dead.

After that Blondie takes half of the money and leaves that place.After moving some distance he shoots at the rope and saves Tuco and leaves the place with Tuco scolding and shouting at him.
