Top 1: Ouran High School Host Club (Melancholy of Haruhi):

This anime consists of 26 episodes. This is a very funny anime, recommended by all anime lovers. This falls under the category of Romantic comedy. Every single episode is so funny that you can not stop laughing. It is not only the comedy but also the story content that makes the anime fulfilling to watch and make a memory out of it. It is about a group of SIX handsome young men who come from very rich and famous families. They have a history of popularity. Money is what rules their world. Ouran High School is after all an Elite high school for those rich students, so no commoner has ever entered the school premises. It is Haruhi who is the first Commoner ever to be invited to Ouran on Scholarship basis. The student is a female but unlike other ladies she has a unique characteristic with tom boy looks and no interest in romance and other genuine qualities, so obviously thought to be a boy when seen for the first time. As expected of a scholarship student, her main goal has been to become a lawyer like her mother. One day when she tries to find a quiet room for her studies, she notices an old music room and accidentally discovers the Host club formed by the above six men. In all this confusion, Haruhi accidentally breaks an expensive vase and she is dragged into the Host club as compensation. It is later, that one by one notices that Haruhi is a female and starts to fall for her. It is the story of the melancholy faced by Haruhi amongst these annoying weird Host club members. Just like most romantic comedies, the female or the male does not realize the Love present till the last episode. The funny thing about this anime is both the couple are so dense that they do not understand their own feelings. This show has been licensed so can not download them, but definitely should be watched. This anime is decent enough without any adult content, hence recommended for all. My rating for this is 4.5 / 5.

Top 2: Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (Perfect Girl Evolution)

This is also a scary funny anime and contains funny scary scenes. This series consists of 25 episodes. This anime is again about 4 handsome dazzling young men and a girl named Sunako. All the four men come from different family backgrounds. They live together in an expensive mansion belonging to a wealthy lady. The lady offers them FREE rent as long as they convert their niece to a perfect lady like in a wealthy family with all ladylike manners. They gladly accept the challenge as they are all popular with females. It is to their surprise the niece turns out to be someone who is not ladylike at all with bad skin and manners and loves horror stuff and sticks to scary models and lives in a dark room. The scary comedy is very funny and some scenes may be disturbing to audience. It contains little adult content but not very seriously expressed so can be watched by everyone. This anime shows the efforts made by the men to convert her into a lady but not the success progress. Its like it is pointless to change her. This show has also been licensed, but must watch them. Very funny and my rating is 4 / 5.

Top 3: Full metal Panic Fumoffu

This anime contains total of 24 episodes but only Fumoffu episodes that is the first 12 episodes are funny. You need not watch the rest. This falls under action based romantic comedy.This is about a soldier who comes to a school and joins as a student to protect a girl. This piont is understood only when you watch episodes after 12. Till then you will not understand why he has come to the school, but episodes 13-24 are not funny. As expected of a soldier, he doubts every single thing and is very cautious and that makes the series very funny. Fumoffu is a stuffed animal costume which he uses to hide is disguise and adds more comedy to it. Must watch the Fumoffu series. This contains adult references but not too much. My rating is 3.5 / 5.

Top 4: Lovely Complex

This anime also falls under the romantic comedy category and contains 24 episodes. This story is about a short boy and a tall girl which is not a normal couple to fall in love. A short boy is not considered very manly type and a tall girl is not considered very ladylike when it comes to being a couple. This fact makes the series very funny. There are various other aspects also that contribute to the comedy. The middle few episodes of the story might be a little drag as the girl who falls for the boy first always sobs that he does not understand her feelings, this makes it a little boring but overall it is very funny. My rating for this is 3.5 / 5.

Top 5: Special A

This anime consists of 24 episodes. This falls under action based romantic comedy. The action content is not heavy action with metals and stuff like in Full metal panic but little action in some scenes. This is about a girl who joins the Special A section of the school only to challenge a boy to whom she has been loosing from childhood in sports, studies etc. She always comes second in every thing. The Special A section consists a group of Seven people who are very talented. This group has separate classes located at separate areas and they consider it as a family. The boy who has been challenged actually falls in love with the girl and that feeling is seen from the second episode itself but in this series the female character is very dense and looks at him only as a rival and does not understand his feelings. The series of romance between other couples in the anime is also very funny. It has no adult content and comfortable to watch. My rating for this is 3.3 / 5.

The movie starts when Wikus van de Merwe was preparing for an interview and in that interview he was discussing about the work that he and his colleague does and also explains about the MNU which acts as the bridge between Humans and Aliens.From that point onwards a cameraman usually follows him, till Wikus was found that he was infected.

After the film starts like a documentary when some of his co workers and his family members were talking about him and many spoke as if Wikus was dead and the rest of the film explains what happened to Wikus and also about the status of the Aliens who were staying in a place in Johannesburg,in a camp called "District 9" and hence the movie title is named after it and no humans can trespass these area.

After that it was shown as Wikus was selected for an operation in MNU.MNU is nothing but Multinational United and it is a private military organization which takes care of the Aliens who were settled in District 9 for over 20 years.When we look back at its history it was in 1982, a spaceship which has come form other planet failed to return as one of its command module was dropped accidentally.

So the Aliens there had no other chance but has to settle in Earth and the Government also approved for their settlement and they were considered as the refugees.A separate camp District 9 was alloted for them and humans can't tresspass that area, so as the Aliens.But the Aliens there were illtreated by the MNU and later in the movie it was shown that a resarch team in MNU also burnt the Aliens for their testing purpose.

So for the safety of both the humans and aliens and also due to the pressure from various organization,MNU decided to transport the aliens 240 kms, out of the city and it was for this operation Wikus was selected and the main duty for Wikus is to transport 18 lakhs aliens to the new place called as District 10.

But many in MNU felt that Wikus was not efficient enough to handle this problem.Now to evacuate all the aliens, on 9th August 2010, a 24 hour notice was given to all the aliens in the District 9, to cooperate withe the MNU for the transportation purpose.The the team lead by Wikus prepares to go to District 9 for the evacuation purpose.

While they were about to leave the MNU headquarters Colonel Koobus Venter,quarrels and he scolds Wikus as Wikus asked him regarding the limitation of ammos.This incident shows the character of Colonel Koobus Venter,who later proves to be great threat for Wikus and also the aliens.

Then the team enters District 9 and they enters each house there and asks to sign the agreement so that they could be transported to the District 10.Some agreed to sign the agreement, but many were not willing and they also beat Wikus and his team.Meanwhile helicopters also patrol the area and this was led by Colonel Koobus Venter, and if the Aliens were not reacting well they will shoot at them.

When Wikus and his team enters a house(shack), they were attacked by the aliens and Wikus was thrown away by a Alien and Wikus injures his left hand and he was helped by his assistant Fundiswa Mhlanga and medicine was applied to his left hand and it was covered with the cotton.Then with his injured hand he goes to next house and he finds that alien resist to co operate.

Then Wikus found his name was Christopher Johnson and they captured him.Then Wikus went inside Christopher's house he finds a small container with some mysterious liquid inside it.When he was about to open the container the liquid sprays in his face and Wikus didn't consider that a serious issue and he hands the container to the MNU department.

Meanwhile there was a Nigerian gang in District 9 camp under their leader Obesandjo, who traded lots of food cans for the high tech sophisticated weapons that also includes mechanized battle suit, with the aliens.But eventhough they got these weapons they, they don't know how to use it and they also went to the extent of eating the flesh of aliens, thinking that they will get their power.

After a very bad day in the camp and a unsuccessful mission at the first day, Wikus returns home and he was taken by surprise as his family members arranged for a celebration for his promotion in his office,MNU, as the chief for evacuating all the aliens to district 10.

While he was about to cut the cake he vomits and everybody was shocked to the see that he vomits black in color.The he faints and he was taken to the hospital.Then when the doctor reveals his forearm and he was suprised to see his hand was mutated into an alien appendage.The doctor was shocked to see this and he informs MNU and later the MNU takes him to its research center.

Now since he has the DNA of alien he can operate the weapons of the alien and in the research center they found that the was in the perfect stage between human and alien and they have decided to vivisect him before he gets transformed into a alien completely.This made Wikus worry and he immediately attacks the researchers and escapes that place.

After escaping from the MNU headquarters he was declared as a fugitive and the media channels informed that Wikus is highly contegious.Meanwhile Wikus who escaped from the MNU couldn't find any place to hide and therefore he goes to District 9, where he thinks it will be a safe place to hide from MNU.

There he goes to a shack and sleeps that night.Next morning he finds that shack belongs to Christopher Johnson, and that was the same shack where Wikus meet with an accident with that liquid.He also finds that Christopher Johnson was the alien who hesitated to co operate with the MNU.He also finds that Christopher has a small son.

Then Wikus explains the situation to Christopher and after that Christopher assures him that he can again make Wikus a human and also aliens can go back to their planet, only if he gets that liquid.Christopher also explains that he was preparing that liquid for more than 20 years.

So both of them decides to get that liquid from the container and they also takes hi tech weapons with them.They some how managed to get the container and come back to Christopher's shack.There Christopher says that there wasn't enough liquid present to treat Wikus and he also promised him that he will come back again after 3 years to cure him and he also revealed that he need to use this in the command module which was under the shack

Wikus was disappointed and he beats Christopher and enters the command module, where he finds Christopher son.Then he used this container and operated the command module and it begins to fly.But in the meanwhile MNU team has come to that place and they striked the module.

After the module fell again Wikus was taken away by the the Nigerian gang as they want him to get the power.At the same time Christopher's son who was in the module activates the module ship and this also activetd the mechanized battle suit and Wikus who had alien character enters this mechanized battle suit and he killed all the Nigerian Gang.

Meanwhile Christopher was arrested by the MNU men and Wikus saves him and asks to go to the module so that he along with his son can reach the spaceship and go to their planet.At the same time a tough battle takes place between Colonel Koobus Venter of the MNU unit and Wikus and finally Colonel Koobus Venter was killed.

Now Christopher and his son reaches the space ship and Christopher also promised Wikus that he will come after three year to cure him.Then the film returns to present where the TV channels show the last available footage of Wikus and also the colleagues and family members of Wikus explains that they would have saved Wikus if they would have known about his whereabouts.

Finally the reports says that all the aliens were transported to District 10 and the population of aliens have reached 25 lakhs and still growing.In the climax it was shown that Wikus finds a small metal flower at her door steps and this makes her to believe that Wikus was alive and satisfy her belief the last scene of the film shows an alien, with a bandaged left hand was creating a metal flower.

The IMDB rating for this movie is 8.4 out of 10.

Hi friends in this article let us see about the tamil movie VARALARU directed by K. S. Ravikumar. In this movie Ajith acts in three different role and the female stars are Asin and Kanika.This much awaited movie was under production for nearly about three years. Initially the movie was titled as GODFATHER which was later renamed as "VARALARU"(History of Godfather) for getting rid of the tax from the Tamil Nadu state Government.The movie's  budget was  $3 million and it fetched around $12 million at the box office.

Story line:

The movie starts with Sivashankar in a Wheelchair feeling for his playful son Vishnu.Vishnu is a playful youngster who always roams and enjoys life with his group of friends.Sivashankar advices his son to go a village(Thottampuram) to help the people there and thereby make his life more meaningful. Vishnu doesn't want to go, a local pizza owner tells Vishnu and his friends that the village is brothel.Thottampuram is really a sacred village and the pizza owner hopes that all of them will get into trouble in the village. Vishnu along with his friends start their trip to the village.At the same time Divya (Asin) and her classmates also visits the villge for their social activity course.Because of Vishnu's visit, the village head allocates Divya and her  friends to stay with poor families, reserving the large village building for Vishnu and co.

Vishnu and his friends are greeted by the village head and they start to see Divya and the girls, whom they mistake for Thottapuram's prostitutes. When Divya discovers their plan, she and her friends decide to teach Vishnu and his friends a lesson. They also want to ensure that Vishnu and his friends leave the large building so Divya and her friends can occupy it.At the evening after the local festival gets over Divya and the other girls decides to teach them a lesson by leading them to the bedrooms. Vishnu's friends are injected with a substance like monkey's blood, which makes them itching all over the body.

Vishnu refuses to sleep with Divya, saying that he doesn't want to make a big one by sleeping with heranh he asks Divya to leave her profession and Divya lies to him, saying she can't, as she has to support a family that is crippled with various diseases. On hearing her life Vishnu offers Divya money so she can start a new life, but Divya refuses once again, saying she doesn't need a new life.Divya says that she cant get a good name in the society after choosing this profession. So Vishnu agrees to marry her in the village temple. Divya doesn't believe him, but Vishnu says he will be there to marry her the next day.Divya doesn't come, however, and Vishnu and his friends see her leaving on a bus bearing the name of the girls' college. Vishnu and his friends now know they have been tricked and the girls weren't really prostitutes. When Vishnu returns home, Shivshankar discovers that his son has fallen in love. With his influence, Vishnu and Divya get engaged.

The turn in the story comes through the 3rd character of Ajit. When the preparation for the marriage of Vishnu and Divya is on full-swing, Jeeva (Ajit as the younger son), who looks just like Vishnu, creates a ruckus in the well-planned marriage arrangements.

A series of issues happen in against os Vishnu and Sivashankar believes that his son has done all and worng things and punishes his son and sends him to a mental check up. Jeeva makes his entry and it is revealed that he was responsible for all the incidents happened. It is known that Jeeva hates Shivshankar for leaving Jeeva's mother (Kanika).In the mean time, Divya meets Vishnu in the hospital and says that she believes in Shiva. After divya leaving the hospital, Jeeva enters Vishnu's roon and beats him and takes over his identity and goes to kill Shivshankar. The father notices that it's not his son and gets out of his wheelchair in order to defend himself. At the time Vishnu arrives at the scene, surprised that his father is able to walk and demands an explanation.

Now the flash back starts Shivshankar tells him that he once was a dancer who, due to dancing, gained a reputation of being effeminate. His mother had arranged for Shivshankar to marry her friend's daughter, (Kanika). He agreed but Jeeva's mother rejected Shivshankar for being too feminine. Shivshankar, enraged, raped her, a deed that resulted in a pregnancy. The doctor refused to give her an abortion and so Vishnu was born, because Vishnu's grandmother wanted the child. Shivshankar takes his child from the mother saying that this child would be the only hope and reason of his life. Shivshankar confesses to Vishnu that he is ignorant of Jeeva's existence and the reason for his resemblance to them.

Jeeva escapes and threatens to kill Shivashankar and tries to stop the  the wedding between Vishnu and Divya. Shivshankar tries to stop him. Finally, Jeeva's grandmother comes out of hospital, explains that Jeeva is also Shivshankar's son and Vishnu's twin and that Kanika went mad when Jeeva was about to get hit by a lorry. Jeeva realizes that he was trying to kill his father without hnowing the truth. The police misunderstand that  Jeeva is pointing a gun at Shivshankar and the police try to shoot Jeeva. Shivshankar intervenes and is shot instead.

Jeeva is then arrested. In the house Jeeva's mother does not accept food from anyone, then Vishnu comes dressed up like Jeeva and feeds her.The movie ends with ends stating that Shivshankar is their godfather.
