Option to select category..A solution for new threads in wrong category.

Hi,
Since there are many new threads made in wrong category, Can we have an option to select category in the page of making new thread?.Just like we select category when we make a new poll, an option to select category from that page itself.
Since no polls are usually made in wrong categories,having such an option will stop the mistake of posting in wrong category.
