The term "Pink Pyjama" is a pejorative term. Keeping the context stricly in mind and its association with Red Fort which symbolises the attainment of a goal ( National Flag is hoisted atop it on the Independence Day). If one ignores the pejorative meaning of "Pink Pyjama" to denote women, the meaning comes out of this phraseology is the rising power of women in our society! This my take on it and you may agree to disagree with me!
I made three trips to US and my total stay in all the three trips was a huge six months plus. I have seen that the people who make fun of Indians saying:
Curry
Desi
ABCD
...are mostly our Indian migrants settled in US...
Nevertheless "pink pajama on red fort" is suspected to have been discovered by the few racist westerners / Australians.
