In many forum posts the heading is given and the content is a link.In many cases that link do not work.So the member gets no information.Also all may have no time to go to the link.

So I request all members to give a brief description first and then the link.

    I had also pointed out this but the member posting link without any description just remarked that pictures speak more than words. The link contained some pictures.
    I also think it will be better to write a few words also besides giving link. However when link is provided, you must visit the link otherwise it is no use reading the post.

    infact i too have noticed it many times....i personally many times just provide the link without giving any description.....

    from next time i would definitely give brief description along with the link....

    This issue has been pointed by many members till now... Good to see you highlighting it again...
    Providing the main essence of the forum in the post is essential. A link can be given and can be directed to other sites... only if necessary...

    Usually due to heavy downloading by students I get the links very rarely and if gets after waiting a long time.So if some description was there I could have a sense what the content is and later may come back.
