Regarding poll submit problem

Hello Mr.Maverick

Today i try to submit a new poll. But it says description should atleast 150 character. I think there is no need of description to my poll. There is so many polls like who is you favorite hero and what is your favorite colour this type of polls description is no need. So please change it. One suggestion Mr.Maverick.. can you limit the character of polls title instead of increasing the character of description. Thanks.

    I think recently they introduced this system of writing description for polls to avoid silly and meaningless polls. But the minimum 150 characters is new. Today only i saw that. I think 150 is little high. Only marverick should clarify this. As the vacation period is nearing, iam not sure if we can get reply for this before that.

    My suggestion is just limiting the character of polls title to 10 to 20 or 30 characters. Instead of increasing the character of description.. Any way we have to wait for Maverick to clarify this one.

    i think 150 character limit putting will decrease interest in poll submission for member so i request please decrease character to minimum 60-70 character.

    As long as the description is clear and concise, minimum limit dos not seem reasonable. Maximum limit and not minimimum should be fixed. Brevity is soul of wit.

    I too had a problem while submitting the poll..
    I didn't know how much should I write...
    I think I should be limited to 10-20 charachters

    We have seen people who are just putting couple of words to bypass the description requirement and posting the polls. We have introduced this requirement today because of the above reason. Limiting it to 20 or 30 characters doesn't makes sense as the previous issue continues. Only the people who are really interested will post polls now. We don't need all the junk polls as they dont add any value. I hope you will understand this. We will think about reducing it to 100 characters if we find 150 is too high.

    Yes Maverick I am also support that there should be restriction for posting unnecessary polls but description limit should minimize to 100 words

    As I goes to poll rarely due to a lot of useless polls I think this restriction imposed is very good.Now it will be good to go through the polls.Let me to have the new experience now itself.
