Today,I went into the quiz section,to see the status of my quizzes.Some of my quizzes are labeled with the sign,unpublished.Does the word 'unpublished' mean that my quiz is rejected?

Generally the term unpublished doesn't mean that your quiz is rejected, it might well be under review and once reviewed and found appropriate then surely it will published...Just wait and see what's happens in your case...
