Basic knowledge of computer operation is one of the criteria for recruitment of judges .A candidate who does not have basic computer knowledge will be disqualified says Supreme Court.

Most of the government offices are getting computerised...
post offices are also getting computerised which is really helping fast work, since i remember when i had to stand for hours to get my MIS money...

As you may be aware the concept of e-courts was mooted by the government of India and e-court project is already under way.Under this project digital inter-connectivity would be established among all the courts from taluka level to apex court.The project also aims at creating a database of stakeholders,courts and cases with user-friendly retreivable facilities. It contemplates digital archiving of all Hight Courts and Supreme Court.Under this e-filing of petition would be available.There are other features too and I have just touched upon a few!
Yes it ineveitible in this era to not know computers and judge as many things crop up from this thing called computer
