There does not appear any discussion on 'Barfi' by Asha. There is something in 'First day first show' but this is not specific about Barfi.

In a comment on the movie Barfi, which is a love story between a dumb boy and autistic girl, Amitabh Bachan has commented that India cinema is going through a magical phase.

Indeed the theme is with a difference.

I was watching a TV review about the film and according to them it is partly good, but does not come up to the hype that has been created.I like the subject since it has to do with a disabled person(s) ....

The movie has a charisma to it. Its cute and different at the same time. It has been shortlisted to be send for India's entry in the best film in foreign category at the oscars along with other films like Kahaani, Pan Singh Tomar and Gangs of Wasseypur.

Actually, Amitabh Bachan referred to theme of Barfi movie to make his point that Indian cinema is going through a magical phase.

So, what we need to discuss in this theme is whether Indian cinema is moving in a new direction different from the existing trend. In what way, the new movies differ from the past movies?

Indian movie has developed a lot.Barfi the new upcoming movie of Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka chopra will rock the box office.
