I am thinking whether this should be the case with out stars who get paid an astronomical sum for their films...the studio hands and the workers get a daily wage that is pitiable , and they have no risk insurance as well.Considering all these facts I feel that like any other privatised or group run firm Film Industry should become more organsied with actors and actresses drawing a salary depending on their capability,crowd pull or whatever...

How much remuneration actors or anyone get is a matter of demand and supply. As far as the producers feel that a star has certain value, he will pay that much. all that matters is that the film hits at box office and gives enough revenue so as to meet all expenses including payment to stars leaving enough surplus.

But shouldn't there be accountability like elsewhere .Film industry is one of the biggest source of black money spinner and we all know that ill gotten money is used for producing and financing films...
It is for government to see that income tax is realized in full from all in film industry and elsewhere. This is a matter different from how much a star gets. Tax evasion and diversion of funds to underground criminal activities and anti national activities should be strictly dealt with.
I am sure that all that is being done especially now when money transfer is not at all easy,one has to go through so many procedures....But the underworld has a great affinity towards the film stars and cricketers, celebrities and generally all those who are in news ..
This is a matter of using surplus money wherever this is available. As there is lot of surplus money with celebrities, the underworld try to tap the source for financing their activities.
Of course daily wagers can barely make a living with a roof over their head and two square meals a day, here we are talking about the stars who earn in crores and have the maximum buying power...They seem to get a income that is far too much for the work they do !
The demand and supply system works in economy. This is indeed cruel. This is not based on needs. So, if somebody is in very big demand, he will get more money. a simple worker is not scarce. Owing to increasing population, they are in plenty. Hence they get less income. That is why we need a welfare\re state who will give justice to all.
