    ndian tennis player Somdev Devvarman created history in Asian Games 2010 by winning gold in tennis singles event. It was India's first tennis singles gold in the history of Asiad.

    Somdev Devvarman defeated Uzbakistans' Dennis Istomin 6-2, 6-1 in the men's tennis singles finals to grab the 7th yellow metal for India.
