The position is gloomy. Vegetable are an item of daily needs. The people can to some extend solve the problems by growing some vegetables in their homes. Instead of flowers, some vegetables can also be grown in kitchen garden. Now the trend is that people build on the whole land owned by them and do not spare any land for kitchen garden.
