Yes. it is good that Indians, in that Indian women are being recognised globally.
It is definitely a matter of pleasure. This shows that Indians abroad have well merged and assimilated with the country of their domicile.

A good news for all of us that a woman of Indian origin has made it to the Prime Minister's office in Trinidad and Tobago.
A 14-year-old girl of Indian-origin has been crowned as Australia's brainiest student in a battle of neuroscience knowledge in Sydney.
Uma Jha, from Perth's Shenton College, in inner-west Shenton Park, outsmarted more than 4000 competitors from across Australia to bag the title.
I think in almost all Careebian countries a lot of Indian origins are there.So we can expect news like this more.
