UPA Government Completes its First Year of its Second Term

The UPA government faces the terrorism, Naxalites, inflation problems. There appears no remedy. However, the UPA Government is in comfortable position because the alternative is even worse.

I also agree with Gulshan.But think that there is some pressure on Manmohan Singh as he tells about retirement.

It has been a difficult year for the UPA government.The economy of the country was under severe strain.The internal security scenario looks more vulnerable than ever before.

As I am not familiar with politics and related matters I have nothing to say on this Chinmoy.

I think second term of Dr Singh as PM seems more difficult then his first five year term.But still he has done good keeping in one year.

He appears to be somewhat lacklustre in his performance and does not at all look to be in complete control.

Yes, he is lacklustre and not in control...we all know its Smt. Gandhi who does the controlling act!

The only reason the UPA govt is still in power is because in face of major parliamentary crisis, the opposition chose not remove its support!

I think UPA is thinking everything in the business perspective. They failed completely in the security. They are concentrating only in GDP. Security is out of control

Maoist attacks are going on.. They are not taking any measures to stop their attacks

His government has been only talking about the Maoist menace without taking any effective measures to eliminate it.
