The senior most judge of Supreme Court Mr.Sarosh Homi Kapadia will succeed Mr.K.G Balakrishnan as new Chief Justice for India.Mr.Balakrishnan will retire on May 11 and Mr.Kapadia will take charge on May 12.

Santosh Kumar- The appointment as chief Justice of India is a very significant constitutional appointment. So, invariably the incumbent of the post is always a very capable person with vast judicial experience. Hence, the new incumbent will definitely prove true to his task.
