Actress Sridevi's painting going for auction - News

I don't know how many of us know that the famous bollywood actress sridevi is a great artist. One of her painting is going to be released for auction on May 6th.Starting price of this is fixed at Rs.11 lakhs. It is expected to go up to Rs. 22 lakhs.

    Sridevi is indeed the best actress, Her acting level is fantastic. With being a good actress, she is beautiful, charming and also a very good dancer.
    I surely didn't know that she is a good painter also, She has achieved laurels in every field of her life, Hope so..even I am sure she will prove to be a great painter too.

    I am not so sure whether she is a good painter!! I just hope it is not another one of those modern paintings which is actually a mess of colors in the name of art!!

    I just hope that while judging her painting work one wont't be too much influenced by the fact that it is coming from Sridevi!!

    Kalyani- If her painting is fetching good price, we may accept that her painting is good. Personally, I am not an expert in evaluating painting.

    @Gulshan, I know it is difficult to evaluate a painting and should be left to trained artists! But I don't agree with you that just because a painting fetches good price, it has to be good. In case of Sridevi and other celebrities, because of their name and glamour, there are people ready to buy their paintings at a good price!! That does not mean they are good artists!
