Hey friends today we are in a harthal which made by LD. So what you guys think about it

    I do not support harthal (strike) by political parties. Strike is weapon of last resort available to workers. This must not be politically used.

    Harthal is a Hindi/ Urdu word meaning strike. This is an effective weapon in hands of workers. The opposite of strike (hartal) is Lock out- which is resorted to by employers.

    The workers need to resort to strike as last resort. General strike or hartal call by political party is most unfair and undemocratic.

    Santosh- The politicians act for public. If Hartal is for public, this will be through politicians. But I understand, hartal or strike is for factory workers and employees. This is an effective weapon of last resort and must be seldom used if all other avenues fail.
