According to the State of Food Insecurity in the World published by the FAO, Food and Agricultural Organization, India is home to a quarter of world’s 794.6 million hungry people, and it has more undernourished people than China.

Many also starving for jobs. India is slowly moving out form this phase and it would take time to completely eradicate poverty. That is why increase of child labor. 

Increase of child labor is an unhealthy trend for any country that wishes to progress and develop
