The hearing and deliberations went on the entire day and just now the news has come in that Jayalalitha has been denied bail and her appeal has been dismissed... Is this the beginning of better days to come ? what about the long list of criminal politicians who have gone scot free because of the blessings bestowed on them by their party high commands?

In the beginning, there was a confusion. Jayalilita supporters started celebrations in Chennai.. Finally. Karnataka court made it clear that she was not granted bail. Hence Jayalalita has to stay in JAIL

Though the govt lawyer did not appose any objection towards her bail the judge taken the right step towards it.

In the final verdict, the judge said there was nothing to prove that Jaya lalita is not guilty. Of course se is going appeal to Supreme court.

I think the punishment should be given equally and money should not play a vital role. The person who already made the same thing will also get punished. Senior lawyer taken the case so we should wait and watch what will be the result to the appeal in Supreme court.

Is it not obvious from the verdict that Money did not play a key-role?
Judge Michael De Kunha hailing from here Mangalore , who earlier gave her the verdict is a very highly respected lawyer and above any kind of greed. He is very straight forward and has seen some ups and downs because of this nature of his. It is the same with other judges at High court, some of who are above money power and greed..

Of course. We are lucky to have judges like Michael De Kunha in the judiciary, who are above greed and Money power. Which is why, we are able to follow the age old " Satya meva Jayate".

Yes due to the presence of persons like Michael De Kunha, one can hope for justice in India. And the case of Jayalalitha is only the starting, there is a long list of corrupts who are to be put behind jail.

The problem is the need for courageous people like Subramanya Swamy relentlessly working to bring in justice and clean up the political rot, how many such politicians are there in our country ? We can see how Politicians look after their own interests like the CM of Haryana did in Robert Vadra's illegal land deals which I am sure will also come to the courts at some stage or the other..

As long as the Judiciary is impartial and not influenced by the political power, the remaining corrupt politicians too face the same fate as Jayalalita sooner or lAter
