Orkut will shut down on September 30, 2014, few years back it was popular, but now with advent of FB and G+ , Google will finally decommissioned Orkut. Orkut had larger followers from India and Brazil. Read more

Rally this was popular. I have also account on Orkut. This was also misused by many. Fake accounts of famous personalities were also opened for defamation.

ORKUT. perhaps was the first Social networking website with neat features unlike the present FB and others. But the trends, tastes and craze are changing fast. In tune with the fast changes, Orkut had to be withdrawn..

Good that Orkut is getting closed officially.. anyhow after FB was introduced very few people actually used Orkut. Bye bye Orkut!
