There was time when Pro Kalistani elements led by Bhindarewala were daily killing innocent people dragging them out of vehicles/ buses. Stiull the Kalistani elements are active not only in India but also operating from abroad. They were using the Golden temple as a fort. In such circumstances, Blue star operation was unavoidable. In some states separatists openly speak against the country and roam freely, in other states Naxals are hyper active, even in miniscule states freedom movements are going on. Most of these movements get finances from abroad from their own people settled there like the so called Khalistanis. Pakistan will naturally take advantage. What will the Sikh organisations especially the Akalis now say about the armed clash inside the Golden Temple yesterday. They keep condemning the Indian government for sending troops inside it to flush out the terrorists. The Indian state must act with a firm hand against those who are working against the country.

Which is why Modi gave priority to solve the problem of terrorism with the support of Pakistan during his talks with Nawaz Sharif when he recently visited India in connection with the swearing in ceremony of Modi. I expect positive and drastic changes in controlling this menace.
