There appeas something wrong with quality contol procedures. Rejection of goods- particularly drugs and medicines- brings ill repute not only to manufacturers but also nation.

Quality control measures are not the cup of tea especially in govt owned manufacturing units. There are of course in the private sector like Reddy Labs which have stringent quality control policies. No wonder US is concerned about the quality of drugs made in India.

But the issue is also with Ranbaxy lab, which is privately owned. The privately owned industry is also culprit. They are more interested in quick profits rather than in quality and consumers.

Negligence of quality control norms is also there in private sector. But they are far lesser in number. Where as in Public sector units its rampant.
