Python swallows a drunk man !!!!!!!

All these are the most horrible news. People dealing with the catching of animals must investigate from where such creatures are coming.

They are free creatures and breed in fields,lakes and wherever there is thick lush greenery. Now they are deprived of food because the forest cover is vanishing so they are venturing into cities and gobble up anything they find...In a way we are only responsible for this since we are occupying their habitat by cutting down forests and trees...

If their natural habitats are kept in tact, no animal will come in to the plains. Very often in Vizag we are seeing a cheetah in the regions close to forests.

There have been cases where people were found alive after being swallowed by Pythons...The python was cut open and the person brought out ! Ough ! :blink: ...I am not sure what has happened in this case..

It is horrifying what a python is capable of ! I had heard of a python swallowing chicks,rats,even cats and dogs but swallowing a man who was drunk and lying down near a liquor shop ??? Incidentally this happened in a place called Attapadi in Kerala.....Just looking at the pictures gives one goose pimples !

Yes,Python breaks the victim's bones by rolling and curling several times and swallows.

This is really a bad incident. But such incidents are very rare. Also one may face such tragedy even when not drunk. I remember an incident in Ramgarh cantt (Dist Hazaribagh Jharkhand). I was in sound sleep. On getting up, I found that a snake was also sleeping in my bed. However I ignored the snake and went to bathroom. On coming back to the room, I found that the snake quitely left the bed and left downstairs. The snake could bite me. A python could swallow me. This is not only drunkenness. even otherwise anything may happen.

It was sent to me with the link for the article by a friend from FB....Either way Pythons are known to swalow babies and children, it happens sometimes in villages where people sleep outdoors during summer months and I know of a couple of cases where children were swallowed by these snakes..But to swallow an adult man !!!! :ohmy:

I don't have any doubt about its authenticity. It happened in one of the villages in AP a few years ago.
