    Mohan Dharia might have lost the career opportunities because he rebelled against Indira. But he won the hearts of the people. The tradition of of offering a place to sycophants in the kotheri was started by Indira, And the tradition continues. Mohan Dharia never regretted for his decision to rebel against emergency. My respects to this person who fought for his ideals until he breathed his last

    Mohan Dharia was instrumental in founding Vanrai, an NGO for conservation of environment and trees, his active role in many fields helped better lives of hundreds of people. May his soul rest in peace!

    And yes, it should be mentioned that, only at the age of 17, he entered the freedom movement. In 1942, he also was involved in the Quit India movement. He was indeed a great leader. My respectful homage to him.

    It is no use blaming politicians if voters can be bribed with Biryani. Ultimately it is voters who have supreme authority and if they can be made dumb, there is no remedy.
