why local currency trade with china can not work

India and China agree for trading on local currency basis. This appears okay but experts opine that this is not feasible.

Besides all the economic reasons given , nothing may actually work long term with China because of the shaky relationships. I dont think that there can be much progress in any kind of bilateral relationships unless older issues get solved !

Can't we avoid the relations with cunning China and improve our relations with Japan? Any relation with China will be suicidal.
