The ordinance on anti rape law must be replaced shortly by legislation in parliament otherwise this will lapse. There is divergence of views on definition of rape and age of consent for sex- 18 or sixteen.

The major problem is not absence of law. even existing law is enough to deal with rape and sexual assault- whatever way you describe. The need is for tightening the law enforcement system and law and order situation.
There are already laws in place, that's not a problem. But there is no will to implement the laws or for some reasons it gets practically difficult.
