This is what Time magazine has come up with- PM is a man in shadow ,lacks self confidence , unable to stand firm and take any major decisions in the interest of the country.No one knows who is governing the country !

    What a way to run a country ! Honestly, it looks as if we are going back to the old times when Kings and autocrats ruled their kingdom as they wanted..

    Well, they have worded it all quite correctly but the reason for all such epitaphs that he has earned is because he is a mere puppet in the hands of the Congress Supremo Sonia Gandhi. Other than that, he actually is a very intelligent person unfortunately who is not allowed to use his own intelligence!! :angry: :angry:

    Time Magazine and other rating agencies in west are not reliable to say as to what us under performance or over performance of our government. Let us see what the commitments of UPA were at the start and what is the performance lag with reasons.

    As regards Sonia Gandhi dominating, this is not wrong. she is Congress and U.P.A. President. People in 2014 elections will decide on under or over performance.

    It is indeed a ridiculous way to run a country! Usha, do you know the term "Banana Republic"? Its a term that was used to describe many countries in the North Africa where there were constant political upheavals and any fool with a gun in his hand could rule the country for at least a few days, until another man with gun shot him down! Probably I am exaggerating in describing the term, but you get the idea!

    The point of all this banter is, if things keep happening as they are now, we not a long way from turning into a Banana Republic!

    Many of us agree with Times Magazine. We want strong, talented and able PM who can very well run and develop the country.

    Only strong, talented and able voters can get a strong, talented and able government. Any wishful thinking and unwanted comments by foreign magazine are of no meaning. Any P.M. has to work in given circumstances with given team as elected by people.

    Man Mohan Singh may be properly evaluated only when he is replaced. There is a tendency to underrate what you have and dream what does not exist.

    Kingdom was different where one could go and ask for justice. In most cases King would do and take right decision, now they come to beg for votes in different attire, which are not their natural/regular dresses and once they get what the begged for disappear to unknown hideouts for making money, nothing else.
