What Maya vati received was donation collected by party workers. The cash involved was deposited in party funds. Maya Vati does not spend so much cash on herself unlike other leader like Jaya Lalitha, who has personal possessions of truck load of saris and other personal jewelery.

Good explaination Gulshan. I didn't thought in that way. I think this issue is a small one. Opposition parties are making this issue bigger.

No Gulshan. I dont agree with u. if the party workers can raise 15 crores of currency overnight then what is the saying about the poverty in the state of our mayavatiji? corruption is always corruption, if it is black or white, backward or forward. I must say that that is a pure political scandal just to gain more publicity and to show the power of so called dalits.

Here the real issue is the source of this money and there seems to be little doubt that this money has come from some legal source.

The Income tax department alongwith revenue affairs ministry and revenue wing of IB should have conducted a joint raid the party office within hours of this news being published in media to know the source of such income.

If the source of income is illegal appropriate legal action should be taken at the earliest so that others restrain from doing such act again.

While currency note garland is an accepted Indian practice, gun salute is an official honor and no private person can accept it. However, BJP General Secretary N.S. Tomar received a 101 gun salute at shiva Puri. The irony is that the BJP President Gadkari says that he needs right thinking man.

We are getting more news about politicians buffoonery. The Congress, BJP and Samajvadi have been making lot of issue of currency garland gifted to mayavati. We got news of a BJP general secreatary Tomar getting illegal 101 gun salute.
The latest news is of golden crown and silver throne for Haryana Congress chief Minister Hudda. The golden crown and silver throne were available in the meeting but the chief Minister chose no to wear the crown and sit on the throne as he had seen comments on mayavati currency garland. Needless to say that if the mayavati currency note garland issue were not there, Hudda would not hesitate to use the gold crown and silver throne.

Jobin- Politicians are becoming very depraved. The ordinary citizens work for money and also commit some irregularities. But they do not go the extent of depravity and double standards like politicians. They do not pretend that they are working for people.

here I do agree with Gulshan. The politicians are really acting like lunatics some times. They will do anything for getting the in the front pages. All they want is just fame & money.
