The judges have a tendency to pass unnecessary and undesirable comments on other statutory authorities while passing judgments. A standing committee of parliament has called for curbing such practice.

I don't think any such move would at all be in the interest of us.Unfortunately a section of media is hyping this up overlooking the context and relevance of these comments which in judicial parlance are known as 'obiter dicta' which never form part of any formal judgement but give a true perspective of the minds of the judges. I can quote several such scathing comments by US judges!
