passenger on Indigo's Ahmedabad-New Delhi flight died on the plane en route to New Delhi, airline officials said on Wednesday.
The passenger, identified as Pradeep Kumar, 52, was found unconscious on the flight 6E-156, scheduled land to here at 9.40 p.m. He was declared dead by two doctors who were on board. Incidentally, Kumar was himself a doctor.
Approaching New Delhi, the plane informed the air traffic controllers of the incident, and requested a priority landing. After landing, Kumar's body was taken away for autopsy, the official said.

The incident also indicates need of physical fitness for air travel. My father and mother were not medically fit for air travel. So, they never traveled by air after such medical advice. I feel that all passengers especially those above age of fifty should be required to carry medical fitness certificate for air travel whild on such travel.
