The country's second largest private lender, HDFC Bank on Tuesday reported almost a 34 per cent increase in net profit at Rs.1,085 crore in the first quarter ended on June 30, compared to the like period of last financial year.
The bank's net revenues, including net interest income and other income, grew to Rs.3,968 crore during the quarter under the review, compared to Rs.3,391.6 crore, the company said in a regulatory statement.
HDFC bank has already been awarded as the "Best Bank of the Year" many times and is alrady at the top rung on few parameters such as "Risk Management", "Low NPA", "Best customer services" "Best Current A/c Products" etc.
It is the the bank which has grown most consistently in the banking industry, in terms of net profit/NII/CASA deposits etc.It has witnessed continuous top line as well as the bottom line growth.
