Internet search giant Google said it is not surprised that its rival Microsoft has lodged a formal complaint about its business practices with the European Union executive Commission.
"We are not surprised that Microsoft has done this, since one of their subsidiaries was one of the original complainants. (Read: Microsoft to file complaint against Google)
On our part, we continue to discuss the case with the European Commission and we are happy to explain to anyone how our business works," said Google spokesman Al Varney.
