Business came to a standstill in the port city of Chittagong on Monday after a public holiday was declared to allow Bangladeshi fans to follow their team's World Cup match against Netherlands.

    Perhaps the best and the most elegant way to support their Bangladeshi cricketers and to tell them that they are with them. what a bigger motivation for a cricket team would be than this.

    i thin they are motivating their team by declaring public holiday. if its in semifinal and final then its OK to declaring holiday..

    Bangladesh is an upcoming team. It was expected that cricket in Bangladesh would take solid shape after success in the 2007 World Cup, where the team beat India and South Africa, but it went backwards for some time. ;)

    It is OK for Bangladesh.But in India it is not good as the cricket fans in India are not so much!
